ABOUT THE ROLE

The Instructional Designer is responsible for consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), conducting thorough needs analyses, designing and developing content that drives achievement of business objectives, and aiding in evaluation of the effectiveness of learning initiatives. The Instructional Designer enables employee performance through the creation of effective training materials including eLearning and virtual instructor-led-training (vILT). 

This is a full-time, temporary position with the possibility to convert to a full-time, permanent position.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • For assigned projects, consult with SMEs to analyze learning objectives, business processes, and the best training method to achieve business goals. 
  • Design and develop interactive eLearning modules with a focus on simulated practice of what employees need to do in their jobs. 
  • Design and develop interactive vILT courses that do not rely solely on lecture or demonstration. 
  • Independently manage projects and priorities, consulting with the Dir, Clinical Training & Development as needed. 
  • Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, social sciences, or related field. 
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Instructional Designer with a focus on interactive eLearning design and development. 
  • Portfolio of work. 
  • Experience working with SMEs at all levels of an organization. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 

 

POSITION LOGISTICS

  • 100% remote position
  • Temp-to-permanent position
  • Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality
  • Reports to the Director, Clinical Training & Development

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • The pay range for this role is $71,700 - $80,000 annual. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
  • While this position is temporary, there are no benefits provided.
